The pictures of the shrinking Lake Powell reservoir and Lower Colorado River will make you cry... Sheesh.

So far as Lake Powell goes, maybe this is an opportunity to remove dams that shouldn't have been built.

We humans ought to pick a cut-off date for fossil fuels, say fifteen years from now, and stick to the schedule as if we are fighting for the survival of this civilization, because we are.

5. Growing crops with filtered Seas Water is being looked at

There are crops that will grow in sea water already. But finding a way to filter the sea water and dilute it to irrigate crops could be the key to the survival of our species.
