Trump in 2024?

If 2024 was next year, I'd say very likely. But it's not and I keep thinking a lot can happen between now and then. He and his company are dealing with ongoing legal investigations, a Georgia DA is investigating him for election tampering, Michigan is suing him for violating the Voting Rights Act and the Jan 6 investigations may well end up proving his attempted coup and sedition leading to the Capital breach.

His true physical health is unknown but his psychotic mental state is obvious...and getting worse. IMO he is totally delusional, completely removed from reality. The ongoing investigations aren't going away, the pressure will will worsen and his mental state will further deteriorate...if that's possible.

I'm in a minority but just don't see him as a viable 2024 candidate at the moment...

2. I'd love to see him draw an opponent that would be as crass and insulting as he was

To his gop primary opponents. It would have to be someone who didn’t really want the nomination though, as they wouldn’t stand a chance if they spoke the truth.

He's not healthy at all, supposedly had Covid, has constant stress and anger issues.

And I think his legal woes are still to come. And his health is iffy, so I agree there, too.

So in answer to your title question, nope. By then he will be non-viable, one way or another.

He lies when the truth would do...so I agree, not sure at all that he will run

If we fair we’ll in the midterms I don’t think he will run

Personally I think he'll grift into 2023 then choose a candidate... a puppet, probably Kristi Noem.

If not Noem, think Hawley.

… likes him. It’s not like his actions and statements have been reserved over the last few years.

He’s grifting now, but that will turn south if he doesn’t run. He has to run to keep up the grift. And unlike 2016, he now WANTS to win because he realizes how well he can grift from office, and how there are very few consequences to his behavior.

The only thing that will keep him from running is his death. And I think it is entirely unlikely anyone can replace him (at least in the short term). It’s a personality cult built ENTIRELY on his personality. No one else can pull it off. Certainly no existing repub politician. Someone will pick up where he ends, but it will take a while to that person to get into that position.
