Chances that Sinema/Manchin agree to carve out on Voting Rights.

I know we are consumed right now with infrastructure, debt ceiling, etc.
But I’m still laser focused on the Voting Suppression by the Republicans.
We have to stop it with a filibuster carve out.
Do Sinema and Manchin finally agree to it?
I think there’s about a 50-50 chance that they eventually will.

With a carve out.
I think it’s just like having an exemption.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

And when McConnell removed it for Supreme Court Justices. The process to change the rules is the same.

Schumer will bring a cloture vote to the floor, which will fail. Then he'll move to bring the legislation to the floor anyway, at which point it'll be ruled out of order. Then he'll have to submit a change in the rules, to exclude a certain type of legislation from the filibuster rule.

Manchin is on record saying that if any changes will effectively remove the filibuster in its entirety.

seats next year, and then pass what we can then. In the meantime, I guess the best we can do is focus on pushing through as many judges as possible and retaking the courts.
