Also, in my personal and very limited experience (anecdotal), it sure seems like more and more right-wing authoritarians are being created each day.

I don't actually believe this, but it's like there's something in the water creating more of them. The "water" is probably just the RW propaganda that floods our airwaves, though.

By the way, another advantage for Republicans is that they don't really believe in anything other than their power. They're willing to scrap legal precedence for that effort, whereas the Democrats who believe in the benefits of a strong and healthy government, generally try to abide by them.

The only consistent goal that I've witnessed among Republicans is to give the most wealthy control of everything pertaining to this country. It's the James Madison vision of this country.

"Family values" and all of their other manipulative BS over the years clearly doesn't matter, or they would've never supported Trump.
