Will Joe run for a second term?

When asked before he always kind of dodged the question. Obviously Kamala would be in line to run for the office if Joe didn't run. Would anyone primary her? I'm sure the mid terms will have some inpact on the race. Just thinking ahead.

Will Joe run for a second term? (Original Post) redstateblues Sep 2021 OP
Yes. I would never vote for a lame duck president. LakeArenal Sep 2021 #1
If Biden doesn't run, Harris is not the presumptive nominee- the Dem field will be wide open. Nt Fiendish Thingy Sep 2021 #2

Her stunt at the debate pissed off too many people. Joe forgave her. I won't.

Of course she will be the presumptive favorite. Who else would we trot out?

Oh I know can we put Andrew Yang up there again? Maybe an actual weekend at Bernies thing? Warren while I would like, isn’t ever going to be prez material. Harris will be by far the most qualified person having filled the VP role.

Because if we one up the 2020 primary infighting we could actually lose to someone else.

We are not even 9 months into the Biden Presidency.

There are laws to be past, people to be help, voters to be located and registered.

Focus on today, this week, this month, this year.

If he's willing to go a 2nd term then Biden is the man.
It would take the 1st 4 years just to clean the filthy crap left by Trump & get our govt fully functioning again so Biden can indeed Build Back Better, for future generations to carry this grand Democracy forward.

I can't imgagine the appalling state of crisis they are no doubt still uncovering.

It won't be good. It will be seen as a lack of leadership within the Party. That's not good with swing voters.

Ahh, it looks like it was stated by others but he denied making a pledge.

Former Vice President Joe Biden has reportedly signaled that he would only serve one term in the White House if elected in 2020 as the top-tier Democratic candidate faces questions about his age.

Four people who regularly speak with the 77-year-old Biden told Politico that it is unlikely he would run for reelection in 2024, when he would be in his 80s.

“If Biden is elected,” an adviser to the campaign told the news outlet, “he’s going to be 82 years old in four years and he won’t be running for reelection.”

“He’s going into this thinking, ‘I want to find a running mate I can turn things over to after four years, but if that’s not possible or doesn’t happen then I’ll run for reelection.’ But he’s not going to publicly make a one-term pledge,” another adviser reportedly said.

Why is this even a question to be asked?

Seems to me there are much better questions at this point in his presidencies...
