DU DC experts: If Dems have to raise the dept ceiling thru reconciliation...

what with limitations on how many times it can be used per Congress/fiscal year, will that stop us from using it to pass the 3.5T infrastructure bill by reconciliation? Or will it be up to the parliamentarian to decide.

that would prevent it from being used for president Biden's Build Back Better bill.

Also, if reconciliation were to be used then Democrats would have to provide an actual dollar amount, not going to happen.

The reconciliation process allows for one bill each fiscal year on each of three areas - Revenue, spending, and debt.

They are often combined into one bill, but they can be run separately.

It will be done through reconciliation unless republicans come around - and that seems unlikely.
