Majority of unvaccinated incorrectly believe boosters show vaccines aren't working: KFF poll

A majority of unvaccinated respondents said they believed the potential need for COVID-19 boosters indicate that the vaccines aren't working "as well as promised," a Kaiser Family Foundation poll published Tuesday found.

KFF's September Vaccine Monitor determined that 71 percent of unvaccinated respondents think that additional booster shots signal that the vaccines are not working, compared to 19 percent of vaccinated people.

A wide majority of vaccinated respondents, at 78 percent, said instead that possible need for boosters shows scientists are finding ways to make the vaccines more effective, as did 62 percent of all participants. In comparison, 22 percent of unvaccinated participants agreed with that statement.

Studies have consistently shown the COVID-19 vaccines are very effective at preventing hospitalization and death, as unvaccinated people experience both hospitalizations and fatalities at higher rates.

There is no available evidence that Ivermectin- an antiparasitic drug- has any effect on COVID but anti-vaxxers are just wolfing it down, all the while professing concern about vaccines that millions of people have gotten which is keeping them from getting COVID and/or keeping them out of the hospital.

Teh stupid it burns

Plus, we already have a new widespread variant. Vaccines are not foolproof and Pfizer is reportedly less effective against Delta. BUT it is keeping most vaxxed people out of the hospital and from having severe cases if they happen to get a breakthrough infection.

This is the kind of nonsense that is spewed nightly by Tucker Carlson on Fox News (among others I'm sure)

Their refusal to get vaccinated is resulting in deadly variants.
That is why we need a booster.

for mutations ... and the more mutations, the more likely something emerges that's more vaccine-resistant and/or more contagious and/or virulent.

These people clearly have no concept of social responsibility.

Buncha Ayn Rand loving assholes.

Right, they have no sense of morality, social responsibility, nor do they posses the ability to make good decisions.

Any parent (really any vaccinated adult) has had experiences with the gazillion doses & boosters for their children (or themselves) through at least age 12 (and many through college prep time).

The idea that needing a booster means vaccines aren't working is ludicrous - anyone who has been seen regularly by a doctor and has not refused vaccines should have vivid memories of the horrible muscle ache from theirTDAP booster in middle-school years (and likely later).
