The NOC Duty Director ensures the timely, accurate, and complete reporting of critical information requirements, making sure the right senior leaders have the right situational knowledge at the right time to make informed, risk-mitigated decisions. The NOC Duty Director therefore works and communicates routinely with the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Homeland security and their support staff, the President’s National Security Staff, and principals’ staffs of the federal, state and local interagency.
