1. I hate seeing dogs put to such evil purposes.

It's just sickening. I think the only time the police should use dogs is if they're searching for a missing person or an escaped convict. K9 units are used much too often these days.

2. The excuse is, "He didn't comply with my orders."

The orders, all within 3 seconds:

Get on the ground!
Don’t move!
Turn over!

Which of the three conflicting orders should he comply with? All while a dog is being ORDERED (the only attack on command) to take chunks out of his leg.

3. "Don't move! Don't move!" As the dog is biting and...

... twisting it's head for greater flesh removal.

Then it's "Good boy! Good boy!" from the cop.

Followed by more "Don't move!" commands.

I couldn't finish watching it. I'm relieved that the cop was sentenced to jail!

Of course, "Officer Spike" (or whatever the name of the dog) can't face any repercussions because it's just a dog when these things happen. If killed by someone acting in self-defense, however, the dog is treated like a human cop.

I think the actions by the dog as described indicate he was not properly trained/handled and would be a danger to continue his service.
