Mick Jagger is on Howard Stern at 1:15.

He's an underrated interviewer. He has interviewed some of the largest figures of out time including Hillary Clinton, Paul McCartney, Madonna, Arnold, Neil Young, James Taylor, Snoop Dog, Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson, Ringo Starr, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jane Fonda.

I'm listening to it on my Roku TV. I can't believe I saw them in concert forty years ago this month- Tangerine Bowl, Orlando . Van Halen was the opening act. The ticket was $16.00.

I was surprised the Rolling Stones were still touring after the death of Charlie Watts. Good interview, imho.

I was curious about the dynamic of having a new drummer on stage after 50 years of touring with the same group. It must be very different for all concerned. After googling it...looks like it is Steve Jordan. He's a seasoned drummer and apparently has a history of playing with Keith Richards.

The big ROCK radio station at the time in Tidewater had a poster promotion to get the Stones to play at the Hampton Coliseum. It worked. It was supposed to be their second to last show - a simulcast from Toronto I think.

My brother skipped school to buy tickets. Mom wrote him an excuse letter saying that he was buying Rolling Stones tickets. The school ended up forgiving all absences that day.

My daughter now has the shirt he bought at the show.
