Have erected, along with their Trump DeSantis sign a Fuck Biden sign.
Sickening and ugly.
Wish there was something civil society could do.
I hope they suffer in a million ways.
I am going to try to use this as a lesson in letting go.

(24,728 posts)they will be on our small irrigation ditch / company.
Anticipating run-ins next irrigating season.
There are 20 or so properties on the Ditch. I'm sure they will be demanding assholes who expect us to do all the work, as is often the case with these types.
They have 0 idea of courtesy and neighborliness in a rural community. They moved in less than a month ago!

Their fence that faces the street has a bunch of stars and stripes all over it.

(10,014 posts)My sisters new neighbor saw their Biden sign last fall and became an enraged trumper, yelling the most outrageous things at my sister and her husband and even calling the county because they were mowing her yard and think they own the neighborhood. She now flies a trump 2024 sign from one of her tree; it faces my sisters driveway, not the street.
The county worker, after spending nearly an hour in the magats house, asked my sister and BIL to try to ignore her because shes crazy. They lived there 40 years and have always been good neighbors and neighborly. The magat just one year.

Someone had the same flag in town right on a main street - in both locations school busses drive by! It came down after a month or so.
I mean - is this something an ADULT does??!!

Or find some joy however you can.
In Ohio on election day I had to deal with Trumpers and some of them were nasty people just looking for fights or some kind of confrontation. Your neighbors put those flags up to try to cause some kind of confrontational.
... don't give 'em one. Btw they are no doubt racist and have some kind of mental problems too.
Joe is doing an incredible job and no stupid flag or sign is gonna change that.

(23,292 posts)and was surprised to see only 2 very small former guy signs. This is Tim McVeigh/Terry Nichols country. These people had massive 10 ft. signs a year ago. Huge flags on flagpoles, flags on their boats, flags on their pickups. It will take many years, but we will erase this stain from our country.

(32,626 posts)there is one house we pass by occasionally that has a shrine set up in their backyard. The most god-awful display of idiocy. Used to be I'd be horrified, now I imagine who lives there. All sorts of characters I've known through-out life come to mind. Obnoxious, loud, hurtful... with no sense of self, and a hole in the soul.

(3,495 posts)I occasionally drive up in central PA to a town called Catawissa. It was the only place that had a bottling company that had Moxie (son likes). The area is full of TFG followers. Most have given up the ghost and taken their paraphernalia down at this point. One person has small signs claiming Biden stole the election and other MAGA stuff (but nothing obscene). Their neighbor across the street has a small set of signs supporting various "liberal" causes; BLM and pride displays. I'm sure it's in response to their neighbor's signage.
If you're brave, posting something like COEXIST close by (but nothing you care to loose or be defaced) or something subtly similar may be a form of protest (in good taste). Sometimes a small token gesture is the best.

These are the neighbors who tore down my signs during the 2020 election season. Twice. I can't prove it, but I'm certain. I've never had my signs messed with before until these jerks bought the house across from me.

Getting upset by someone elses message is exactly what they want anyway, allowing them to live in your head rent free as the saying goes. Getting upset about their message means they won.

(9,535 posts)you can't say the 7 dirty words the FCC thinks children shouldn't hear.
Children can see signs, too, so why can't such language be banned?
I disagree with the Supreme Court's interpretation on that one.
Everyone should be entitled to voice their support of any candidate or official, but without profanity in places children could see it.

(4,170 posts)no tfg flags or f**k Biden flags. No one gives me dirty looks for wearing a mask, and many seem to be wearing them. Wish we didnt have to, but at least no one makes an issue of it.
Ive seen a lot of welcome fall flags, pumpkins, mums, and Halloween stuff showing up. Wonderful season here. Sitting on the porch in the rocker listening to the crickets.
I just wish it would cool down a wee bit! 🥵

Maybe take a leisurely drive to the bagel store at the same time they leave the house for church.

They put up signs for the Republican Governor Candidate, but that's about it. They are not happy with TFG's lying he told me.

Sure, the paper will say they have standards, but that doesn't mean you or anyone else have to.

(10,870 posts)They have been ostracized by everyone else in the neighborhood. The rest of us are very Democratic leaning, and we all consider these clowns "not worth the time".
DENVERPOPS
(8,818 posts)they are actually Dems, and if a civil war, anarchy, or an insurrection takes place they will appear to be on the Republicans side and therefor safe from harm......LOL Unlike Republicans, Dems don't generally go around just shooting people over a difference of opinion.
The Dems wouldn't have to worry normally, but the Repubs have the majority of guns in the nation, and this is far from over.
I knew several dem friends who had Trump/Pence political yard signs hidden in their garages before the election. They were merely hedging their bets on Election Day, Jan 6th and Jan 20th. And just in case the un-thinkable happened they could quickly put them up in their front yards.
My wife has a new car and I have forbidden her from putting any political or morally correct bumper stickers on her car........

(11,457 posts)But pass on my dog walk had same kind of signs except no DeSantis I am in southern Oregon.
House across street had a Biden sign and a we believe in Science sign. I wondered how she can stand living with those signs as her view. I guess keep blinds shut.
We have a ordinance here thank god, keeps things from being too political, you can only have signs up 3 months before a election and have to take down right after.
So right now neither have signs aahhhh. 😛

(67,782 posts)She said that due to a recent "Freedom of Speech" court decision (not sure if it was State or Federal) municipalities can no longer censor any signs on private property.
We also had a couple of "Unmask Our Kids" signs, but they're gone now. I suspect they got a lot of pressure from neighbors to get rid of those.
Here are some of the signs from back in the winter, "F* Biden" has recently been added:

(146,288 posts)there's really nothing you can do that will force the neighbor to take down the signs. So, I'd advise simply ignoring them, and also being unavailable to help that neighbor with anything at all. I would simply ignore the neighbor's existence completely. No waving at the neighbor, no response to anything the neighbor says. Just shun the asshole completely.
It won't get him/her to take the signs down, but probably nothing will.
However, I kind of like the idea of a yard sign with an arrow pointing at his signs that says, "We Strongly Disagree with This."
I think that would be a fun thing to do, along with the shunning.
