The media is waiting with bated breath to report a Democratic failure

Last edited Thu Sep 30, 2021, 09:59 AM - Edit history (1)

Beginning on Oct 1st a delay will actively be hurting President Biden because the bipartisan infrastructure spending that was agreed to will stop flowing. Nationwide governors and mayors wil be calling saying they need the funding for the Dept. of transportation, along with over 500 billion of new investments that cannot be accessed etc.

50 votes in the Senate, and 220 in the House is not a functional majority. There is zero chance of 50 votes in the Senate for a 3,5 trillion dollar bill, but they should be able to get something at a lower price.

I suspect the press will try to paint President Biden, Speaker Pelosi, and Majority leader Schumer as “losers” if passage is delayed or worse. That is a false characterization. President Biden has passed four massive pieces of legislation in a mere 9 months.

We got a fiscal year 2021 budget, a 2022 budget, we got a 1.889 trillion Covid relief bill, and a 1.2 trillion dollar bipartisan infrastructure package passed in the Senate.

Those are massive accomplishments in 9 months.

Between Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer we have 100 years of legislative experience, and no one should underestimate that.

think it was biased. I don't think the withdrawal from Afganistan was handled very well. And what is going on in Congress makes me pretty disappointed so far.

He didn't pay a price for that did he? No. He isn't paying a price for giving Afghanistan to the Taliban either. His sock puppets are well trained to see what they want to see, all evidence be damned. That is the big problem with never paying a price for white collar crime. Even "white collar crime" is too pretty a euphemism for "psychotic incompetence no one saw coming and can't seem to do anything about."

President Biden. About the debt ceiling raising it was the Democrats fault no word of Republican obstruction and the turtle saying the Democrats would have to go it alone. No word about TFG making an agreement to pull out troops of Afghanistan that the Biden administration had to honor. Covid response, no word about American Taliban governors having high rates of covid because they are against mask and vaccine mandates. I was screaming at my tv and so disappointed in Mr. Lester.

Tonight I’m going to watch ABC news instead!
