Sage Steele calls company's COVID vaccine mandate 'sick' and 'scary': 'I didn't want to do it'

I really feel for her. You know, her company trying to save her life and the lives of her co-workers. But that's not the best line in the piece. The real valueless incite in this typical anti-vax-moron-has-the-sads piece comes at the end . . .

"The anchor has made headlines over the years for her conservative opinions. At one point, Cutler called Steele "the Candace Owens of ESPN," which she found amusing.

"Wow, I respect the hell out of Candace Owens," Steele said of the conservative pundit. "Whether you agree or not, she doesn't give a crap what you think."

Okay, I'm just going to say this. No one intelligent thinks Candace Owens doesn't give a crap what you think. Candace like all right wing propaganda merchants sell BS to idiots on the right. That's their bread and butter. Thus, they absolutely care very much what their audience thinks. Knowing what they think, and delivering it to them so their audience can have a false sense of superiority and own the libs is basically what Candace and all like her do for a living. That Sage, now 1.5 years into a disaster doesn't catch on her right wing pundits are leading her to slaughter is hilarious. Candace and the right have been wrong about the virus at almost every turn, but what they've been saying is what people like Steele want to hear. That she thinks Candace is some bad ass free thinker only means she's a sucker. Sage sees villains where there are heroes and heroes where there are selfish villains. It's probably a shame she got vaccinated and will stay at ESPN because people like her are typically hard on her co-workers. I'm sure their lives would be easier with her canned.

Sage Steele started out as a sportscaster on WRC in Washington DC. She was one of the first female sportscasters that I can remember on local TV here. I know that she was picked up by ESPN for a while. I guess she went full MAGA. Too bad.
