I have this urge to give a big F*ck Off to everyone who has a my way or the highway

attitude and stuck their tongues to the icy slide (aka a Christmas Story).. I just don't understand the the whole bill or no bill stance.. Take what we can get and come back for the rest..

seriously..

We have got to stop this piling everything into one bill and then have a dizzy spell when we don't get it all... just keep coming back with our bill.. we have the numbers.. we can put the pressure on the individuals on both ends of the party to get our individual bills through..

I wish I had seen that.. have been out of town for a while and not really checking in too much.. yep get it on the books.. once on the books its hard to get it off.. that is a hell of an idea

Like saying it's 1.5 trillion plus Hyde plus no real new spending just revert the tax cuts because"that's what everyone can agree on?"

Manchin doesn't want to take even the smallest of hits. He wants everyone else to suck it up but he wants his bill and his bill only.

His supporters and GOP may be that stupid but the majority of Americans are not. He was not upfront with the progressives in July when he told them he would honestly work on the reconciliation package and they cooperated on his and Sinema's word. Both he and Sinema have been meeting privately with McConnell and other republicans, not to mention their corporate donors who own them and do not want this, ie:Koch's. Why would they ever trust either of them again.

There has been some shitty messaging by Democrats (left, right, and center) about the fact that the bill is offset by cutting tax loopholes and reversing some of the Trump tax cuts on the wealthy. But I would like to see the media fire back about the costs being offset by increasing taxes on the wealthy and to what particular tax increases he's opposed to.

I was thinking today that whoever is in charge of coordinating a message to media for the party needs to be fired.
