Republicans bracing for October Surprise (from Gloria Allred?)

Republicans are bracing themselves for Gloria Allred to make a potentially damaging revelation about Mitt Romney, just weeks before the election.

The pro-President Obama lawyer is rumoured to be preparing for her so-called 'October surprise' in which she will strike the Republican presidential hopeful's chances by unearthing some sort of secret or scandal.

Ms Allred has refused to comment on the rumours, which first surfaced in a tweet by the Drudge Report's Matt Drudge on Thursday.

'Here she comes. Hearing Gloria Allred out there again, about to make a move. After all, it's her time of the campaign. Team O at the ready!!' Mr Drudge wrote on Twitter.

This election is what it is. The victor will be the one who gets the most voters out

Obama go straight to Freeport and stand in front of all the sacked workers with the media, let the workers give their personal stories, then Obama talk about how Mitt Romney will not support a bill to give companies tax relief who bring jobs back to America, because that doesn't fit with his business model, which is to buy companies, often in a hostile takeover, strip the assets, take whatever government subsidies he can and ship jobs to China to make more money out of cheap labor in sweatshop conditions. Then sell those companies to make millions off the backs of everyone else. That would put Romney's greed and hypocrisy on the front of every newspaper, news website and new channel. Romney would be roasted.

for couple of weeks.

My wild guess is that Obama has decided that it would end up
being a draw, because Obama has retirement funds (run by the
State of IL) that are also invested in Sensata; and remember
in the debate when Raw-money came back with that lame line
of crap ... as tho Obama has ANY control over how his pension
fund invests, which he doesn't.

Then Mitt will claim he also has "no control" over Bain or Sensata,
pointing to the fact that they are designated as "blind trusts".
Blind my ass.

but that's good to know, about the $11 figure.

I haven't noticed anyone remarking on this choice of language. Nothing is below Egg Boy, but IMO, "campaign" is a replacement for "month" in the statement.

Am I reading too much into it? I've heard that (original) statement for my whole life about women who dare to get uppity. I don't think I'm being too "sensitive," as I'm a gay man. It just struck me as Drudge's attempt to inflame the testosterone-laden.

because she would have just said it wasn't true. Whatever she's got, some of the more seasoned journalists already have a hint of what it is but she's got the proof. I think it's something she's been working on for a long time.
