Following the mass shooting in the Spa in Brookfield the Medical Center complex has been placed on lock down.

No details about why. There is speculation that the shooter from the spa may be at large.

3. For background Froedert and Childrens & Medical College of Wisconsin are at that medical center

it's the largest medical center in SE WI its 2-3 miles east of the spa shooting site
and victims of the shooting were reportedly taken there.

This will quite literally impact thousands of people who are interested in visiting patients in these facilities.

4. Swat teams(?that's what the reporter said) are reportedly sweeping the hospital

Also the report is new patients are only being admitted with police (?again that's what the reporter said) escort.

Fear is the spa shooter may make an attack at the hospital.

There is no information on what it might take for a hospital visitor to enter.

Froedtert Hospital is on lockdown. Critically injured patients will only be accepted with a police escort. Preliminary information is that the lockdown is a precautionary measure.

Four shooting victims from the Sunday Oct. 21 mass shooting at a salon near Brookfield Square Mall are in the Emergency Department at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin. None of the victims is in critical condition and all are being evaluated. We will post updates from the hospital on this page as more information is available.
