TX gov. Greg, that is
I mean, if theyre going to toe the Party line in Soviet Politburo-level proportions, shouldnt they speak Russian (more often than they already do)?
(I stand by my lack of promises that I'll remember to include this every day)

(2,143 posts)Blast from the past just as Anita Hill's book "Believing" is out. Book (well written and researched) made me cry; toons from back then make me cringe.
Thanks as always for links to prior TOONs.

(19,201 posts)since the shit-show that got Thomas appointed to the Supreme Court. I'm not inferring that Anita Hill was any part of that shit-show, except as the undeserving recipient of the shit that was heaped upon her by members of the Senate at the time.
And that inhuman swine Thomas still sits on the highest court in the land, totally unqualified and probably still as much of a misogynist pig as he was then.
Anyway, thanks for the memories, JHB, and thanks for the toons.

(15,257 posts)The american culture hasn't changed in 300. Misogyny and racism hasn't changed in 300,000.
The only way to achieve some level of fairness is through legislation and enforced laws. Both of these seem unlikely in our current environment.
