https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ohio-abortion-heartbeat-bill-pregnant-11-year-old-rape-victim-barred-abortion-after-new-ohio-abortion-bill-2019-05-13/An 11-year-old girl in Ohio was allegedly raped by a 26-year-old multiple times, leaving her pregnant, according to police reports. A state law passed in April, but not yet in effect, says that victims like her won't have a choice to have an abortion they would have to carry and deliver their rapist's child.
The law prohibits women from obtaining an abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected, about five or six weeks into a pregnancy, before most women even know that they're pregnant.
The law provides no exceptions for rape or incest.

When signing the bill, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine focused on the rights of the fetus. "The essential function of government is to protect the most vulnerable among us, those who don't have a voice," he said. "Government's role should be to protect life from the beginning to the end."
Funny how, as always, their concern for "the most vulnerable among us" only extends to those not yet born.

Except for that pesky part in the middle where an 11 year old child is forced to bear a child of rape.
How do these people say this crap with a straight face??

Republicans are dickwads. I suppose the 276 year old gets away with it.

over any woman who carries their seed and over any child born with their DNA, even if started by rape.
Just add that to the toxic brew.
As for the 11-year old allegedly being raped she is so many years under the age of consent that there is no allegedly about it. She was raped.

A man who raped a 12-year-old has been awarded joint custody of her child despite being convicted of her rape and another sexual assault on a child.
The convicted rapist assaulted the girl nine years ago and she subsequently became pregnant.
A judge has given Christopher Mirasolo, 27, parenting time and joint legal custody of the eight-year-old boy after a paternity test found he was the father.
Since his conviction for the rape in 2008, Mirasolo, from Brown City, Michigan, has been convicted of another child sex assault, for which he served four years in prison.
