SCOTUS summarily reverses LC rulings that had allowed lawsuits against police officers to proceed.

Also in today's order list, SCOTUS summarily reverses the rulings of two lower courts that had allowed lawsuits against police officers to proceed. SCOTUS says the officers in both cases are entitled to qualified immunity. No noted dissents from either reversal.

any details on it other than what was in the tweet, so I couldn't post it in LBN. CNN ran an article about this a while later, and calista247 posted about it there.

The post was mostly to let DUers know that there was a ruling at the SC this morning, so be on the lookout for a story later today.

I know this isn't why you're asking, but I felt I might as well answer too.

Thanks.
