Willard Hotel Was Insurrection 'Command Center'

Last edited Sat Oct 23, 2021, 12:25 PM - Edit history (1)

Washington Post: “They called it the ‘command center,’ a set of rooms and suites in the posh Willard hotel a block from the White House where some of President Donald Trump’s most loyal lieutenants were working day and night with one goal in mind: overturning the results of the 2020 election.”

“The Jan. 6 rally on the Ellipse and the ensuing attack on the Capitol by a pro-Trump mob would draw the world’s attention to the quest to physically block Congress from affirming Joe Biden’s victory. But the activities at the Willard that week add to an emerging picture of a less visible effort, mapped out in memos by a conservative pro-Trump legal scholar and pursued by a team of presidential advisers and lawyers seeking to pull off what they claim was a legal strategy to reinstate Trump for a second term.”

Planned and paid for by Donald Trump and his associates.

Trump could never concede. He could never say he lost. So he made up a big lie to "prove" that he won and the cult bought into it.

but unless they're trying for a group insanity defense they really need to ditch the "legal strategy to reinstate Trump for a second term” explanation.

About what it would have taken for this little caper to succeed. They had to have had some plan to achieve success, right? Otherwise, why bother?

I believe multiple elected officials would have to have been killed for this plan to succeed. I believe the planners wanted some of their opponents gone, for good. They wanted the crowd all heated up, and looking for blood. The rioters get blamed, and the coup planners waltz in, and “heal” the divided nation.

The planners must be prosecuted and imprisoned.

in order to declare Martial law and reform our government in his image. No doubt in my mind that they
wanted to see blood Jan 6th to accomplish their goals. Yes the planners need to be in jail for a long time.

..he not only lead the effort--gave orders as to what ensued up to and incl. Jan 6 and now ffg is obstructing investigation that really only comes to one conclusion--as you said..he [odioustraitor#45] WAS the ring leader. He lead the coup d'etat, insurrection that killed 5 people that day, where hundreds were injured. Cheney's comments raised eyebrows --suggested where the investigation is leading bc all evidence points to mffg, his sycophants incl., some members of GOP. It will not surprise me that next supeona will have his name stamped on it.

Note: see excerpt/video provided below of Cheney's comments during recent Jan 6 committee hearing. Also, at said meeting Cheney goes on to remind GOP of their constitutional duty [ later we found that 8 members incl Cheney voted with Dems to supeona Bannon, the remainder of Republican House cowered to fg.]

While the committee has yet to provide evidence directly linking the former President to those efforts, Cheney's comments reflect a suspicion among members of the panel that Trump is attempting to conceal certain communications that may be incriminating.

"Mr. Bannon's and Mr. Trump's privilege arguments do appear to reveal one thing, however: they suggest that President Trump was personally involved in the planning and execution of January 6th," Cheney

they'd declare that they got pitched by the planners, or that they had been fooled and had nothing to do with the crime itself.

Who paid the conservative pro-Trump legal scholar; who paid for the team of presidential advisers and lawyers -- private orgs or taxpayers?

Some are being held in jail for up to 18 minutes and fined seven dollars.

We can be sure that they’ll think twice before insurrectioning again.

And Trump hotel was constantly under surveillance by media and -- perhaps -- by LEO.

Some are asking why MSM dropped the ball on this.

Why did media not have stake-out at the Willard once they saw some of these players coming and going??

Why were they not beating the bushes for sources?

I want to know who the ‘several Senators’ are. We can speculate, but we don’t know. These people need to be forcibly removed. On a separate note, I find it deeply disturbing that a degenerate low life like Trump was allowed to desecrate one of the most beautiful, iconic buildings in DC.
