The media narrative will flip again after Biden signs both bills, which I expect will happen.

In far less than a year Biden has already gone from being a transformational president to a hapless one unable to control his own party, according to pundits. That narrative will quickly be replaced by one depicting Biden as a master negotiator, the only man on the planet with the ability to pass highly consequential legislation through Congress with wafer thin majorities of fractious Democrats. It won't matter what the legislation actually contains, the media focuses on process, not content.

It will be a nice relief, but that won't last more than a month or two before they start tearing into Biden again over God knows what next time. That's how our media rolls.

But if Dems win, even if the results are squeakers, the narrative (for a short period of time anyway )will be that Biden has turned the corner

You think they will spin it as some sort of positive? LOL!

They will immediately pivot to how much was left out of this bill and how it really won't help anyone and it is actually a defeat for Biden and his presidency. Assuredly. They will do the """both sides""" thing where they have a Republican calling it a socialist/communist/blah blah blah takeover of America and a wishy-washy Democrat on that talks about all the things that should have been included but were not.

The media loves wild mood swings, it amps up interest from all sides. Biden will get his moment, then they will take him down again later on something else.

The American Rescue Plan ($1.9T)

The bi-partisan Infrastructure deal ($1.2T)

The BBB social spending bill ($1.9T)

Any one of them would have been an achievement to run on. All 3 together in such a short time? Earth shattering!

All Trump did in 4 years was a tax cut his party was going to pass regardless and the stealing of 2 SCOTUS seats. That's his list.

I do then.

They will keep on with the "failing presidency" narrative, because the prefer the chaos of that orange pustule and his horrific minions.
