the Loudoun county numbers up that it is game over for Youngkin. He showed how the area used to be +4 for Dems during Romney election. Then +17 for Hillary. And it was +25 for Biden. He said the number he will be looking at is 15%. He said if the numbers are at least 15% then Democrats might be keeping the gains made in the suburbs. I hope he is right. I hope he is accounting for the military people (and defense contractors) in my area that are pissed off at Biden because of Afghanistan withdrawal and mask mandates. Many were not going to vote Dem anyway but I believe some flipped to vote against Trump. Youngkin is just like Trump but he does not look as dangerous.

1. We went to early vote Friday in Stafford County

The number of voters at the early voting site was better than it was last October when we early voted in the Presidential election.

Hoping our two straight blue tickets helps keep Virginia Blue.

2. I remember Gov. Newsom and the media plus polls all but claimed ....

he was going to be "recalled". I've been following somewhat the Virginia's governor's race, and I sincerely believe the Dem will win.

The only time there was even a “50/50” narrative was back in early summer, after that, Newsom was clearly ahead in almost every poll.

right up to election day, it was being promulgated. So glad it was poppycock, but it had me on edge until the results were in.

In the past 24 hours both Suffolk and Emerson both released polls showing a tie.

Freaking out a bit, this should not be happening in a Biden +10 state

Obama, Stacey Abrams, Biden, etc. have all been campaigning for McAuliffe and he was governor before so hope it works out.

Youngkin has been courting Asians pretty hard and using wedge issues to rile up conservative whites.

Question is, going forward, how many in the general public, GOP especially, flipped to defeat Trump or only voted to defeat Trump. How many 2020 voters of all stripes will now vote as a habit rather than a once in awhile?
