Drunk Again Bannon Suggests Merrick Garland, FBI Involved in 'Coup' Plot to Oust Trump

Former President Donald Trump's ex-adviser Steve Bannon has suggested that Attorney General Merrick Garland and the FBI took part in a "coup" to remove Trump from the White House.

Bannon insisted that it was "no conspiracy" to suggest that Garland, who did not become Attorney General until nearly two months after Trump left office, was involved in a plot to remove Trump, during his podcast War Room: Pandemic on Monday. Bannon and his guest Darren Beattie, a former Trump speechwriter who was fired after a CNN report alleged that he met with white nationalists, discussed an evidence-free conspiracy theory that claims FBI informants instigated the deadly breach of the Capitol on January 6.

"What did the FBI know, what did the national security apparatus know, what does [FBI Director Christopher Wray] know, what does Merrick Garland know and what did they not tell the president of the United States? What did they not tell Donald Trump?" asked Bannon. "What did they plan? What did they plot? And what did they hide from Donald J. Trump when he was commander-in-chief?

"This is an outrage," added Bannon. "You talk about coups. I can show you a coup and we will show you a coup. No conspiracy. We're going to connect hard dots."

Grade school taunt from a Trump fluffing sycophant.

On second thought, it does seem like he’s getting a bit antsy. The prospect of an indictment might do that to him

What action has the DoJ taken wrt to the criminal contempt referral from Congress?

I know, I'm not supposed to be critical of Garland, but in public he seems to be as tough as a piece of wet store-brand paper towel. Look up mamby-pamby (you don't often see that in writing - looks weird, but I think it's accurate), and his picture should be there.

These cases are of extreme importance. Not protecting every aspect could mean disaster in court.

And court is where these criminals will get their due.

He’s not usually that twitchy.

They’re twisting themselves and their stories into knots, trying to stay out of jail.

... and no Democrats were involved! For that matter no patriotic Americans were involved.

Stop trying to project your crimes on everybody else, Steve Bannon.
You need to be locked up in solitary confinement.

This needs to be Steve Bannon's Halloween costume:

What a useless pile of cat poop he is.

It might be fun to watch him squirm.

I'll be very disappointed if we don't see a televised live perp walk.

This is getting boring. Trump claims evidence but in 61 court cases, failed to show A SINGLE EXHIBIT. Cases were thrown out because they lacked anything that would merit proceeding with inquiry.

All of his buffoon attorneys said, "We have proof" and yet not a single one showed anything. They are still screaming and saying, "We weren't allowed to show our proof". No, that isn't how it works. Anyone can file a lawsuit, but the first thing that is done is an examination of the complaint and if there is any evidence that merits proceeding with preliminary trial processes. THEY FAILED the first hurdle.

I actually wish that at least one would have been put through so that they could have made fools of themselves in front of everyone. I know that judges do not like to waste their time, but it would have been good for people to see that all they have is the CLAIM. They never move beyond the CLAIM because they have nothing else.
