To the media, yes the Alec Baldwin situation is very tragic....

but you should be doing what Maddow did last night...by showing this video of this Eastman conspirator ..... and then confronting every republican on the hill running for office or in office on where they stand....and holding there feet to the fire....

But am I the only one that feels like we have totally lost perspective?

We lose about 100 people a day to guns in the US. It has been 6 days since that event so we have lost another 600 people.

They are all tragic.

This story should be a launching point to talk about all of them as a cancer within our culture.

* Yes, ants can kill you, although it’s highly unlikely. They can also inflict extremely painful bites. The three species on everyone’s “nastiest ants” list are fire ants, driver ants, and bullet ants.

The movie set accident has gotten way-on more coverage than it deserves, at the costs of coverage for significantly more important news.

I hope? At the end of the day, this looks to be a tragic gun accident. With a celebrity involved.

Hell, it's about time. What changed?

Now do the other 36000+ gun violence deaths so far this year.

The media is doing exactly what they are supposed to do. Their job is not to inform the public. Their job is to entertain and distract you from important things that our leaders, the oligarchs, don't want you to get involved with. Things like bills being debated in Congress.

Not only was Cheney's "accident" the result of not following hunting protocols, he didn't report it until the next day.
