WV is a very poor state, with massive opioid problems, where many people are dependent on foodstamps and disability and other welfare payments.

They're exactly the people who NEED expanded Medicaid, paid dental care, family leave, the jobs that would come from a big infrastructure expenditure.

I know he knows his people better than anyone, and goodness knows, he's successful with them. But... this is an example of that "dying of whiteness" -- resistance to what will benefit you because it might benefit someone you don't like.
