the obstruction and vote for more Democrats, better ones.

It's a slim hope, but it is still there.

Of course, then there is suppression and outright ignoring the vote in some states to contend with.

But, the SCOTUS is likely to overturn Roe in summer of 2022 and really energize a whole lot of women.

It isn't lost, not yet.

but I kind of have to in order not to go insane.

And, I've been called a doom and gloomer more than once around here, but I do think that Republicans are overplaying their hand. Or I hope that they are.

I get where you are too though. I'm there most days, today is, for whatever reason, a not-so-pessimistic day. I'll take it.

Manchin and the other one literally gutting the bill into nothing. Who needs pukes to ruin the bill when you have these two dip dongs to do that for you?

Democrats would have had a harder time winning elections if nothing was passed, and because of Manchin and Sinema that's where we were heading. The sad thing is that we aren't going to get a better Senator out of W. Va. and Sinema was just elected I believe, so that means that Democrats need to pick up Senate seats to get things passed.

It would be nice to get money out of politics, it's insane that we legalized Congress people being bought and paid for. I keep thinking of justice Alito mouthing "not true" to president Obama at the SOTU.

I voted for McGovern, but I will never say that Democrats got nothing out of the bill because that only helps GQPers.

If we don't deliver on the more popular proposals, the media will pound us incessantly and the lower-info voter will buy into it.
