Bluewater's advice to fellow progressives

Don't be left holding the bag on the Build Back Better agenda.

The progressives in Congress have supported President Biden's agenda and have fought hard negotiating with obstructionists like Manchin and Sinema. God bless them all.

But once President Biden presents the best bill he has been able to obtain with the senate divided 50-50, please just pass it and pass the infrastructure bill also.

We are at that moment where it's time to move the ball forward and get our Democratic party in the best shape possible for the midterms in 2022.

Just my humble opinion, your mileage might vary.

1. Except that there's no bill right now. Just a framework.

And nary a peep from Sinemanchin about supporting even THAT. Meanwhile, Biden wants the House to pass the BIF today, with just his word that his framework will be written into a bill and passed by the Senate.....when, exactly? Or at all?

In a year Dems will have the chance to make Manchin and Sinema irrelevent.

In Pennsylvania, we have a good chance to grab Toomey's open seat with Lt Gov Fetterman.

And what's possible now is dictated by a small minority in the Democratic caucus.
