I like the way this vote is being laid out

...the White House and the Democratic leadership are forcing Dems on all sides of the legislation to reconcile out in the open, in this vote today.

We'll soon see who, if any, are actually standing in the way of President Biden's agenda.

Manu Raju @mkraju
New — Pelosi told her members: “Don’t embarrass” the president by voting down the infrastructure bill as he flies overseas, I’m told

She also said she would put the infrastructure bill on the floor today and hold the vote open to get the bill through.

The bill is either a Yes or a No.
The cloak of shame has many excuses why it's being made to wear. Nonethless it will be worn & history will note who wore it.

when DU members had 95.7% trust in Speaker Pelosi. If we fail to get the BBB bill she can retire.

Why does the book "Profiles in Courage" come to mind?

We've already seen. Sinema and Manchin.

Everyone else, including progressives, lived up to the deal they made. Just because two corporatists broke the deal doesn't mean progressives should get the blame.
