They said they would not vote for the bipartisan infrastructure deal unless the BBB deal could be voted on at the same time. And numerous posters here started threads saying they're against the BBB deal now.

Can't imagine wearing that NO vote & having to explain why "Nothing is better than Something", on into the history books.

That's why Biden called it Build Back (only Better). Because it is foundation to build upon till the goal is reached.

Happy to hear this statement of approval for the passage of BBB, & hope for immediate follow through bills from here on.

This was misconstrued. He was simply saying, don't vote on the bipartisan deal unless we send the BBB to you too. That was the plan all along.
