Warning - this short clip (the 2nd one) captures people firing guns too big for them, which might have even resulted in a few painful lessons learned. If you are highly empathetic
towards all of the goddess' frail and often hapless peoples, you might want to skip this.

(10,434 posts)In the first clip, that's just a waste of a fairly good beer. But at least he was in control of his weapon.
That second one is nothing but stupid, idiot, posers. The first thing we were told as teenagers when we got a shotgun or rifle more powerful than a .22 was to make sure the stock was firmly against your shoulder. They get no sympathy or empathy, just laughter and derision.

(197 posts)having to listen to a loop of the guy laughing in the background for, I'd say no more than 8 minutes, would be enough for me to confess to anything.

(19,069 posts)Republicans always try to paint the image of responsible gun owners. They act like there's no liberals in small towns or who grew up around hunting and guns. There are dipshits like these in every town. Hunting season in most states is a descent into cabins of the drunkest idiots ever to have loaded a gun. It's a miracle more aren't injured and killed.
I've had people trained in the military, who pride themselves in gun safety, do stupid shit with guns in front of me. Sure, there are a lot of safe gun owners out there. But there are a massive amount f idiots everywhere doing stupid stuff with guns on the regular.

(66,391 posts)Three crewmen can clean the gun and have it ready for inspection in about 45 minutes.

(23,350 posts)In 45 minutes, the gun is clean, but the crew is covered in soot and solvent. What is that on your uniform? Drop and give me fifty.

(66,391 posts)But still, three guys, the ramrod, the scrubber attachment, and the "bell" (for running through cloth scraps to clean up all the gunk). We got it done...
