Felt pretty bad yesterday, even worse than after the second shot. Headache, fatigue, chills, some nausea.
Much better today except for some tenderness at the injection site.

(10,831 posts)Mildly sore arm, then fatigue and stiffness set in around 9 pm and continued yesterday (I slept through my morning alarm).
But overall? Not too bad.
Glad to hear you're feeling better this morning.
I definitely wanted to have the booster before Thanksgiving when we'll be joining friends and family for dinner. All vaxxed but still. And we're planning a day at the Philadelphia Art Museum on Black Friday to see the Jasper Johns' exhibit.
I'm going armed. With my mask and additional vaccination shot.

(13,523 posts)to think these Pfizer vaccines are doing nothing for me. No big reaction from the first two-sore arm only. The booster made me tired for a couple days and sore arm for a day and thats all.
A HERETIC I AM
(24,370 posts)and I had zero side effects, outside of a little soreness at the injection site.
I think it depends on the individual whether or not the side effects are severe or not.
I'm going to try and get my booster today. I had a physical yesterday and tested negative for COVID 19, and I was a little worried because I am in facilities all the time frequented by truckers from all over the country. But I'm good so far.

(7,349 posts)Felt a little nauseous early in the evening last night, but other than the injection site being a little tender, Im doing a-ok. 🤞🤞

(17,340 posts)And my arm didn't hurt after 18 hours.
I posted about my reactions here - Third Pfizer jab Saturday at the Centre de Vaccination in Aix
And as of today France is over 86%+ vaccinated.

(312 posts)Felt a bit off last weekend, and was extra sleepy on Sunday. Arm was sore as shit too.
By Tuesday I was feeling normal, and by yesterday there was no pain in my arm whatsoever.
About the same experience as J&J, which I got back in March.
Tried to get it at Duane Reade (Walgreens) at first, their website even let me book an appointment, but I was turned away on account of their systems not being updated. So I went to a city-run vax popup clinic nearby, where I was able to get the jab with no issue. Love the efficiency that corporate America provided.
Moderna booster yesterday in the AM...beside a sore arm, no worries. Popped a couple Ibuprofen this morning and stacked a bunch of wood for the winter. No real reaction to the prior shots either.
Not sure what that says about my immune system, but I'm glad I didn't feel as crappy as some do after the shot.

(11,029 posts)Started about 4 hours after the shot and lasted almost 24 hours to the minute. Felt like crap, then was fine.

(6,593 posts)Feb/March were uneventful except soreness and swelling of the injection spots. Then, a full 2 weeks after the second shot, my upper arm itched like crazy. Very weird.
Senior dose flu shot - absolutely no reaction.
Moderna Booster yesterday - no reaction until this morning. Slight headache; injection site soreness; a bit light-headed; could probably nap at will, but can easily stay awake.
Since there's lots of petrie dishes walking around up here in Wisconsin, I'll continue to mask up.

(11,473 posts)I got senior flu one, got sore arm and a day of feeling crampy.
Then got pneumonia one and my arm hurts even worse but no other symptoms just got yesterday morning arm still sore today, been putting cold pac on it.
Have 1/2 dose booster of Moderna on Veterans Day, hopefully will be better than March where I got real sick for 5 days.
Talitha
(6,593 posts)My health care provider suggested it - laid me flat on my back for almost 3 days. Better than getting pneumonia though.
Here's hoping your booster shot treats you well.

(11,473 posts)Pain in my arm is still there but not as bad.
Nurse told me reactions were worse for flu and covid shots than pneumonia one for most people.

(4,552 posts)Moderna Feb/March
First injection gave pain at site. Couple weeks later got COVID ARM (arm swelling, painful and red and itchy for about 36 hours)
Second injection was wicked. I was down for the count for 36 hours. Shaking chills, fever, super sore muscles all over. Fatigue, little appetite.
Flu vax earlier this month-senior but not mega dose- none in stock.-sore arm
Moderna booster yesterday- OK yesterday. Today I feel chilly, elevated temp and tired and just off. I am taking antihistamine combo with ibuprofen for the sneezes I have been having the last few weeks, along with feeling feverish from the booster.
I expect to be all sorted by tomorrow.
And ready for whatever the viral season wants to throw at me. Masked up and ready to rumble.
On the other hand, hubbie followed the same routine, and only gets a sore arm at injection site. Nothing else. You know, he isnt an angel. I think he should have SOME inconvenience!!!! LOL!

(6,593 posts)At 5:00am I took two 325mg Bufferins, and had another dose at 10:00am but the headache persisted. My sinuses felt a bit stuffy though, so about an hour later I took some Sudafed and the headache went away. Yay!
BTW - "all sorted" sounds very British.

(3,262 posts)Yesterday late afternoon. (J&J in April) Woke up this morning bragging to my husband that my arm wasnt even sore. I felt fine! Ha!
Then, it started to hit me about an hour ago. Joint pain, headache, fatigue. Hoping it wont last too long.

(3,011 posts)24 hours of symptoms: headache, fatigue, 102 degree fever, muscle weakness, nerve pain, loss of appetite, fatigue, soreness at site of injection, joint pain in the arm where the injection was.
Symptoms largely disappeared after 24 hours. Still have mild headache on day 2.
I called Moderna to register my symptoms. I also tried to make an online report on VAERS, but the system is broken.

(27,045 posts)I had no problems with the first two, but last night I noticed my jaw just below my ear was swollen. It didn't last long, but in the middle of the night I noticed it again. I was like mumps on one side. I haven't had a recurrence today, though, or any other problems.
Beacool
(30,250 posts)I had gotten the J&J vaccine in March, so I qualified for the booster. So far I only have a slightly sore arm, no other symptoms.
Feel better!!
