Since they own so many other companies and apps now. Facebook will still be Facebook. Just as Citibank is still Citibank under Citigroup, and Google is still Google under Alphabet Inc.

Similar thing.

I think FB wants to leverage their reach by direct marketing to the users.....in-house, in-corporation advertising....with FB terms of use being - give up a portion of your screen to see directly want we will market ->sell to you.
