(15,728 posts)Lets go, Brandon! the backstory
This whole thing got started earlier this month, at the Talladega Superspeedway. Brandon Brown had just won a NASCAR race. And sportscaster Kelli Stavast at one point commented during an interview with Brown afterward how the crowd seemed to be chanting in his honor: Lets go, Brandon!
Unfortunately, thats not actually what they were chanting. Not even close. The crowd was very clearly addressing President Biden, not Brandon. Only, with an f-bomb in front of his name instead of Lets go!

(13,933 posts)fuck Joe Biden. An announcer thought they were saying Let's Go Brandon. Now that phrase has come to mean fuck Joe Biden in assholeian.

This thing seems like something 12 year old boys would find hilarious.

(1,382 posts)It was a very obvious attempt to cover up what was clearly being said.
It made the announcer look foolish, and thus became a cult classic.
We heard it chanted last week at the Perdue vs Wisconsin football game.

My ex-neighbors never bothered with code. Their wifi network name changed from "Trump2020" to "F***JoeAndTheHo" - glad they sold the house and moved away.
