(15,222 posts)It's time - more than time - for something to have been done. The clock is ticking and it's the other sides' tactic to stall. Inaction only emboldens the stallers. With the resources of the Department of Justice, one would think SOMETHING might have happened by now.

(5,275 posts)Right now the most descriptive word I can think of to describe Garland is milquetoast. Afraid to sentence the Capital insurgents too harshly because it might Harden them further....give me a break. I think Biden is giving him some cushion because Garland got robbed from being a Supreme by Mitch McChinless.
Its time to grow some spine Mr. Garland and if not soon replace him Joe with someone like Glenn Kirchnerl

(7,282 posts)Although on the one hand it was a relief to hear the U.S.Atty General deliver remarks with a soft spoken tone and in a soft spoken manner... and the content of his remarks resonated with me to my core, at the same time I felt a warning that he doesn't possess the skill set required for this particular job. It doesn't seem to be in his "genes".
Worst than that, he has demonstrated to my eye and ear, a sort of fearfulness and seems to be easily intimidated by these treasonous bastards on the R side of the podium occupying the Senate and Congressional seats on the hill.
He seems to be in fear of his life. or perhaps his family.
I'm not saying he IS in fact in fear of his life, I'm saying I feel it projecting from him while observing him answering questions.
