They may not get the handful of sweets the other kids receive but I'd be just as friendly with them as with the rest.

I clearly remember that on Halloween 2008, this woman in Grosse Point, MI asked kids who their parents were voting for. If they said “Obama” she refused to give them candy. Some kids were in tears. There was a gentleman down the street who had a McCain sign on the lawn and he gave every kid that came to his door a full sized candy bar.

That woman, who was a middle aged high school math teacher was so repulsive that even Fox News was shocked by her behavior.

and if their parents were nearby, I'd say "great costumes!".

We didn't get many this year: a bunch of generic princesses and a Captain America, complete with shield.

No exceptions.

I gave out twinking light up pumpkin necklaces, superballs that light up on impact, granola bars, and milkbones for the doggies.

Everyone could pick one. Even moms and dads.

The superballs went the fastest.

About how the people that they're emulating are liable to turn this country into a democratic wasteland.

Then send them on their merry old way.

She would not be that happy. Trump needs more orange.

Of course give them candy. They are kids. The parents likely put this idea in their head. Even if they didn’t, it isn’t like the children have the wherewithal to understand how horrible those two are and why.
