passengers after a flight attendant was assaultedSecretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg said Sunday that adding unruly passengers to a "no-fly list" should be an option after the latest incident involving the assault of a flight attendant.
The Federal Aviation Administration has investigated more than 900 unruly passenger incidents in 2021, up from 146 in 2019. Last week, an American Airlines flight attendant had multiple broken bones in her face after being attacked by a passenger.
On CNN's State of the Union, Dana Bash asked Buttigieg if there should be a "federal no-fly list for people who behave like this."
"I think that should be on the table," Buttigieg said. "It is completely unacceptable to mistreat, abuse, or even disrespect flight crews."

We can't have crazies disrupting our airlines. It's a safety issue.

I'm a former airline employee, and even back in my day passengers could be difficult, to say the least. But they weren't physically abusive as happens now. Ban them. For life.

Whatever gave the thug who did that the idea he had the remotest right to assault her or any other human being for just doing her job?
In addition, on an aircraft this could have deadly results for every passenger and crew member aboard.

At 39,000 feet, you cant pull over and call the cops.
Get these peoples ID, including face-recognition images, in case they change their names.
Let them take the bus.
