1. Violence is a necessary ingredient of fascism
Mon Nov 1, 2021, 09:22 AM

Fascism is hostile to egalitarianism and loathes liberalism. It champions ‘might is right’, a Darwinian survival of the nastiest, and detests vulnerability: the sight of weakness brings out the jackboot in the fascist mind, which then blames the victim for encouraging the kick. Fascism not only promotes violence but relishes it, viscerally so. It cherishes audacity, bravado and superbia, promotes charismatic leaders, demagogues and ‘strong men’, and seeks to flood or control the media. Even as it pretends to speak for the people, it creates the rule of the elite, a cult of violent chauvinism and a nationalism that serves racism.

so do 26% of independents and 6% of Democrats. That sounds like about half of the US believes it.
Who the hell are those 6% of Democrats?

Dixiecrats who only identify as Democrats because their Great-Grandpappy son of a Confederate soldier was a Democrat, and they put up with FDR because of all the Federal programs that got their families out of poverty and into Leave it to Beaver land or Mayberry in the 40's and 50's.

The Robert Byrd and Zell Miller Democrats.

Trump's approval rating has always & continues to hover around 40%, which brings to mind this 2018 Fintan O'Toole commentary about Trump & fascism, in the Irish Times:

Fascism does not need a majority – it typically comes to power with about 40 per cent support and then uses control and intimidation to consolidate that power. So it doesn’t matter if most people hate you, as long as your 40 per cent is fanatically committed.

Survival of the fittest doesn't mean strongest -

It means most fit for an organism's environment/conditions.

Lichens can grow on a side of a rock.

There is no "nasty" human who can survive on the side of a rock with nothing else besides rain, a little sun, and wind-blown particles.

And if you notice, there are plenty of herbivores that can grow bigger than any fascist human.

Even the biggest animal on earth eats just krill.

Oh and the reason fascists are a minority is that they aren't as well adapted for survival as the rest of us.

5. Many expect more violence from shithole's cult with the GQP's blessing . . .
Mon Nov 1, 2021, 09:41 AM

and would probably make fire crackers go off in corporate media's heads re: ratings, profits.

But the GQP cult should be aware that Americans who cherish Democracy from all races will not stand for this.

7. They have this fantasy that they can go in with their AR-15 like Rambo

and nobody will try and stop them. They have a point I think a lot of law enforcement would join them
and I don't entirely trust the military if it would come down to that.

and 2. That Democrats and other Independent and non-Trump Republicans won't fight back to save our United States.
