The tape of the Southwest flight tells another story

So I fly as a private pilot and have some friends in the airlines. Everything in a cockpit is recorded and the tape apparently doesn’t say what the AP reporter said it did. The flight was out of Houston and the pilot said “Let’s Go Braves” referring to the World Series not Let’s go Brandon.

This is probably going to turn into a “fake media” blitz by the pukes.

7. That is a recording from October 12th. The reporter said they heard it Oct 29th.

According to the Associated Press, the pilot used the line on the morning of October 29, 2021, on a Southwest flight that originated in Houston and was headed to Albuquerque.

Probably best to wait for the investigation.

4. "Southwest launches investigation into pilot reportedly using anti-Biden phrase on flight"

(CNN Busienss)Southwest Airlines (LUV) says it is launching an internal investigation after a report that one of its pilots used anti-Biden slang over a plane's public address system during a flight.

"Southwest does not condone Employees sharing their personal political opinions while on the job," the airline said in a Sunday statement. "Southwest is conducting an internal investigation into the recently reported event and will address the situation directly with any Employee involved while continuing to remind all Employees that public expression of personal opinions while on duty is unacceptable."

The Associated Press, which had a reporter on board the flight, first reported that a pilot of a Friday flight from Houston to Albuquerque ended his typical greeting to passengers with the phrase "Let's go Brandon," which has become right-wing code for "F**k Joe Biden." The AP report said passengers responded with audible gasps.

The issue is not really whether he said "Let's Go Brandon" or "Let's Go Braves". Its what else he said in the public announcement.

I found him quoted as saying, “We’re heading east at about 107 or 108 mph, clear visibility, mostly clear skies, about 77 degrees. Thanks for coming out, flying Southwest Airlines, welcome home and let’s go Brandon."

Is there additional reporting that I haven't seen?

Considering TFG and his escort were hanging out at the Atlanta game chopping away, "Let's Go Braves" is just as offensive.
