(36,109 posts)Not everyone is married or has children, tons of seniors are widowed, tons of people are divorced

(170 posts)I am very tired of the GOP claiming values like love of country, family, and faith, etc., to be their sole property. How is it when I say "I love my country" people think I am a right wing republican?
We let those words slip away, and we should reclaim them. And remember - we broadened the definition of family. We should be proudly pro-family.
We will deliver the child tax credit, paid family leave, and an host of other pro-family issues. Pro-people is accurate, but hasn't the ring to it.
