Manchin is the biggest moron in politics

If he would have just kept his mouth shut the House was planning to vote in the next few days on both bills. Then Manchin's beloved bipartisan infrastructure bill would have passed.

Now he's blown the whole process up yet again with his egotistical press conference. Just like with the filibuster, debt limit and voting rights Manchin is incapable of playing the long game proves yet again he's the worst negotiator in congress.

At this point he just wants to stay in the spotlight. At the end of the day that's all he's achieved: more opportunities to appear on television and pretend he's the real POTUS.

Biden should have Pelosi pull the bipartisan bill. Pretend it didn't pass the Senate. Even if it passes at this point Manchsinema and their Republican pals are just going to take all the credit.

3. Should have passed the "bipartisan" bill when it was ready months ago.

Then, concentrated on BBB with the momentum.

I get the two Bills were linked as leverage, but not sure such leverage was way to go within the Party. Plus, negotiating within party in public, announcing it’s gonna pass time after time, etc., probably wasn’t best approach.

If they can’t pass both in next few days, need to go for “bipartisan” bill. Then tackle BBB.

But, who knows? I sure don’t.

And the media will instead blame Biden and progressive Democrats. And give Manchin and Sinema a free pass.
