If he flubs, it can certainly hurt him. Our "liberal" media is itching to put a gaffe from Obama on tape loop all the way from now until Election Day.

But at the same time, thrashing Romney probably won't get big gains - the media will dismiss and minimize anything stupid Romney says, and since sports-minded people are either going to be watching baseball or football tonight, the viewership will be down.

But I think Obama's far too smart to give any openings to rMoney.

I'm sure he'll figure out that once a pathological liar always a pathological liar.

He needs to be the Commander in Chief...he must show Romney is not qualified to lead...Mitt's remarks like "Russia is our #1 geo political foe"...out of touch completely...MR. President if you win this debate you will will Florida and win the election...Remember this is in Boca Raton...home of the 47% comment...mitt is thinking about that.

good luck Mr. President

"Just before he challenged Sonny Liston for the heavyweight title, a fight the polls conceded to Liston, Ali was asked how he would deal with defeat. ''If Liston beats me,'' he said, ''the next day I'll be on the sidewalk hollering, 'No man ever beat me twice.' I'll be screaming for a rematch.'' He knew that Americans love comebacks."
