I managed to save myself by late in life switching to martinis. Gin not vodka. Stirred not shaken. James Bond didn't know what he was talking about.

the Gin will appear cloudy. That is because the shaking will put microscopic bubbles in the Gin. This alters the taste and not in a good way. In James Bond's defense, he was drinking Vodka Martinis. It's okay to shake that jewelry cleaner if you want to.

(contra indicated for meds in a enough to give you buzz)

Not a fan of seltzer water myself.

But when I could drink it was - pina coladas, black, or white russians, champagne, white or rose wine, didn't find
bourbon (I hate whiskey, scotch) till after. I've had Hagan Daz's vanilla with chocolate truffles, and bourbon! Oh yum.

And there was a club in have had a "Milk & Cookies" -
Milk, Kahlua, and Oreos! 😁 ❤️ Loved it.

never liked liquor, SOME wines ok, black russians were a fave, AND vodka gimlet for summer drink.

May try Haagen Daz vanilla with truffles.

NO whiskey, scotch, vermouth, vodka alone, tequila etc for me. All taste related.
I'm not sure I ever had rum.

I can drink some red wine, but I like it dry.

Yes, you should try and find that particular Hagan Daz!😁

If you find it at some tell me if you liked it. 👍

My favorite one was the Champaign Cocktail. (not to drink, just Rachel's presentation) When she said one of the ingredients you need is confectioner's sugar, she said some people think you can make this drink with regular sugar, and those people are wrong.
