Paid family leave.
Daycare assistance.
Money to cops for mental health intervention experts.
Money to rehab programs to keep addicts out of jail.

Just shove it all in there and pass it.... quit haggling. quit making deals.... JUST DO IT.

3 or 4 days ago I told someone I'm in the slow and steady wins the race side ... take the deal in hand and fight for more later. And really, that's me. But yesterday tells me keeping the house and senate probably won't happen regardless.

4. My local town

kicked out the Q's and put in "moderate" Republicans. The local Democratic party considers that a win. I don't.

We still have 2 "sanctuary cities" in the county and locals are still going to be given all the time they like in meetings to whine about how teaching American History and a 5 yr old boy who decides he wants pink hair today is going to be the death of America.
