Aaron Rodgers should be banned from the NFL for at least 1 full season, the POS was unvaxxed

and lied to all and acted like he was, breaking all the protocols, now he has COVID and probably gave it to teammates (more than likely) and other people.

The piece of dogshit was taking homœopathic (ffs) nasal spray.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2021/11/04/nfl-aaron-rodgers-vaccine/

That human smoothie Aaron Rodgers could have just owned it. Everyone should respect his decision to try homeopathy over a coronavirus vaccine. No one can respect him for being deceitful about it. The great leadership researcher Brene Brown has said, quoting from a 12-step meeting, “Candor is kind.” Its opposite, indirectness, is not kind. It’s devious.

Good luck to Rodgers rolling this one back. He will now be known as a guy who is slicker than his TV hair, who thought he was unique, too much so to follow rules, and more precious than anyone in the room. May he make a speedy return to the Green Bay Packers with no symptoms, but as for sympathy, that should be diverted to people who shared spaces with him when he was unmasked, who now have to sit around and wonder whether they brought something home because he was too coy with the coronavirus.

Lord knows Rodgers is inventive with the football, but of all the dodging, narcissistic, contrived moves. “Yeah, I’m immunized,” he said, so artificially, when asked in the preseason whether he was vaccinated. That was a lie by omission. And not just a single lie but a daily wilful deception along with a weirdly callous charade. On multiple occasions he went into postgame news conferences — which tend to be closely packed, fetid affairs — unmasked. And there should be some queries about the steam and sauna and rehab rooms, too.

Aaron Rodgers tests positive for coronavirus, is considered unvaccinated under NFL rules

Obviously, it’s Rodgers’s choice whether to get vaxxed, and there are plenty of defensible reasons not to — and he should be able to hold his beliefs without being publicly demeaned. But what Rodgers did was demeaning to others. He also had a choice about whether to be forthright about his status or be duplicitous. He chose the second option and apparently went around unmasked to make it convincing. Rodgers betrayed another belief with those actions — or, rather, a lack of belief. He does not believe that we all have to share some sacrifices in getting through this wretched minor-keys measure of history. Only you do. Not him. Your pandemic is not his concern. He is indifferent to it.

Nor do I think there are, as is written here, that "there are plenty of defensible reasons" for someone who is healthy not to get vaccinated. Rodgers is just as idiotic as any anti-vaxxer out there. The Packers let him get away with it because of his stature as a player and fan favorite. I respected him before. I don't now. He should be held accountable not only for the deception but for not getting vaccinated.

The NFL-NFLPA rules were amended this summer. Masks are required for unvaccinated players at games only if they are inactive, meaning they are not in uniform and not eligible to play. Active players are encouraged but not required to wear masks unless local or state guidelines require it, according to the current protocols. None of the four teams that the Packers have played on the road so far have required active players to wear masks on sidelines.

My point was that Aaron Rodgers, as an active football superstar, makes it more difficult for the NFL to sanction in a meaningful way than it was for MLB to impose a serious penalty against a former great player who had long since retired. The money implications aren't the same, and, like it or not, money talks.

Lasting immunity found after recovery from COVID-19 - from National Institutes of Health

Several months ago, our studies showed that natural infection induced a strong response, and this study now shows that the responses last,” Weiskopf says. “We are hopeful that a similar pattern of responses lasting over time will also emerge for the vaccine-induced responses.https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/lasting-immunity-found-after-recovery-covid-19

AND:

Natural immunity to covid is powerful.
It’s okay to have an incorrect scientific hypothesis. But when new data proves it wrong, you have to adapt. Unfortunately, many elected leaders and public health officials have held on far too long to the hypothesis that natural immunity offers unreliable protection against covid-19 — a contention that is being rapidly debunked by science.

More than 15 studies have demonstrated the power of immunity acquired by previously having the virus.
A 700,000-person study from Israel two weeks ago found that those who had experienced prior infections were 27 times less likely to get a second symptomatic covid infection than those who were vaccinated. This affirmed a June Cleveland Clinic study of health-care workers (who are often exposed to the virus), in which none who had previously tested positive for the coronavirus got reinfected. The study authors concluded that “individuals who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection are unlikely to benefit from covid-19 vaccination.” And in May, a Washington University study found that even a mild covid infection resulted in long-lasting immunity. https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2021/09/15/natural-immunity-vaccine-mandate/

For many, politics and religion don't matter when football season starts. For them, football is their religion and anyone who screws it up will be lucky they don't get a public stoning.

Many people test positive but never develop any symptoms. They can still spread Covid, but not as effectively and not to the extent that those who are symptomatic (coughing and sneezing) can.

44. Given the high rate of false positives with PCR, we don't know that he's infected anyone.
Thu Nov 4, 2021, 08:51 AM
Nov 2021

The PCR is a very problematic test on which to be basing our public health strategy. Even inactive viral fragments can generate a positive test result if the test run is set for a high degree of sensitivity (>30 augmentation cycles), so a positive PCR result is by no means definitive, unfortunately. This does not excuse his behavior and deception, just to be clear.

69. Here's an interesting overview of the PCR question, from about a year ago.
Thu Nov 4, 2021, 10:23 AM
Nov 2021

It has some good links to specific studies, and it includes a video clip where Dr. Fauci voices his concerns about PCRs:

https://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/false-positive-covid-tests-will-extend-unjustified-lockdowns-fauci-admits-miniscu?utm_campaign=Daily%20Newsletter%3A%20False%20Positive%20Covid%20Tests%20Will%20Extend%20Unjustified%20Lockdowns%2C%20Fauci%20Admits%20%27Miniscule%27%20Accuracy%20%28XgL4zn%29&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Daily%20Newsletter&_ke=eyJrbF9lbWFpbCI6ICJyaWNrLmxlc2tvd2l0ekBnbWFpbC5jb20iLCAia2xfY29tcGFueV9pZCI6ICJLMnZYQXkifQ%3D%3D|

Bottom line: PCR is so sensitive that it can detect residual fragments of the virus, inert particles that have no ability to infect others. How often that's the case with a positive PCR depends on the sensitivity of the test, and that piece of information (the PCR threshold level, or augmentation cycle number) is unfortunately almost never included in media reports about Covid outbreaks.

The positive line can be bright red or so faint you almost can't see it. We saw this change in my FIL as the virus ran its course. It showed an extremely faint and broken line. Of course its not possible to know whether he was infectious at that point. No layman know which is really unfortunate

Apparently the bottle of water he paid big bucks for gives you immunity to COVID. Well…obviously it does not, and the other problem is “vaccination” and “immunization” are considered synonyms so everyone just figured he got his shots when he didn’t.

with his preparation for appearances as guest host on Jeopardy. I read that he spent so many hours watching tapes and practicing voice inflections. Like he highly respected the show and highly respected knowledge.

And then he does something that shows he really doesn't respect knowledge at all. It's one thing to follow what you think is best for your own personal health... But you have a responsibility to other people.. your team & your fans which was ignored and hard to forgive

Shailene Woodley is well known for her love of woo. She has discussed in the past how she eats clay, suns her vagina to soak up vitamin D and she makes all of her own "medications". Her bff, Miles Teller, is rabidly anti vax and anti mask even though he had covid.

Olivia Munn has her own problematic issues, such as misogyny, but she never crapped all over GB like Woodley has. Woodley refuses to even visit GB and has stated that she will not stay there. She has expressed her views of wanting him somewhere bigger with a warm environment. Munn actually moved to GB w him and was seen out in public regularly shopping. Danica Patrick, another ex, also stayed there often and was nice to the public. Shailene isn't the same.

He's an intelligent guy who was accepted to Stanford Law but declared fir the NFL draft. He knows he's winding down his professional career. He had no chance at getting Jeopardy but a good showing could jumpstart a future career in TV. He'd be fine working games, on a sports entertainment show, daytime tv or even another game show.

This has ruined so much of what he's working towards. I don't think either of them realize he's broken the trust of so many fans.

Btw-supposedly she was required to vaccinate. She's working on a show filming in Canada rn and reports have stated the set has mandatory vaccination. Reports are also stating she might be investigated by the production's insurance company to see if she actually complied.
