(14,909 posts)GOP lies are killing democracy.
(NYT reporter Michael) Schmidts acceptance of the GOP talking point that what happened with Ukraine never actually happened should remind us all once again of Orwell: And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed if all records told the same tale then the lie passed into history became truth.

(17,259 posts)Says a lot about where we are as a party, repugs took a college course (CRT) taught in only a few schools
for students going after their masters and convinced voters their children were being brainwashed with it from
kindergarten to high school. We should be calling it "The 2nd Biggest Lie" We should be painting the repug
party as habitual liars who never tell the truth or are willing to discuss issues. Remember WMDs?
You see what that got us!
Thanks JHB

(28,264 posts)trump and his goons (with all sorts of aid from the brain-dead media) have rendered the national electorate a lot more emotional than they are intelligent. Unfortunate, but adjustments need to be made. And immediately.
Think I'm broad-brushing it a little? I'll try to keep that in mind, next time I come across a thread bashing me and millions of fellow Texas Democrats for the sins of Greg Abbott...

I finally figured it out, but it still looks like a hairy black banana to me!
