(2,280 posts)Even if we thought the DOJ has a spine -- which is woefully lacking, the more damning piece is that NO STATE AG, county DA, or other law enforcement official has indicted and arrested any of these guys on obvious fraud, tax evasion, or campaign finance violoations.
I fear that career prosecutors want to stay on the good side of the (R) party for job security.
But I have little hope for the future of this country.
tRump's bank and tax fraud cases should have been indicted and he should be in jail or on an ankle monitor awaiting trial right now. The fact that he is not says that far richer and more powerful people are pulling the strings.

(15,823 posts)I remember in 2012 someone refused a subpoena and nothing ever came of it. I doubt any ever had. McDoogle would have been better off to ignore her subpoena.
