From what I have read nobody knows who Q is. I have to think he has

got to be the most evil practical joker in history. He must just sit around and think what
is the most ridiculous claim I could make to see if these morons fall for it. JFK Jr. coming back
to the grassy knoll at Dealey Plaza to make Trump president, how damn nuts do you have to
be to believe that crap? You announce trump will be made president in August, it doesn't happen,
you say in September, it doesn't happen then say Dallas and people still fall for the bullshit again.
Apparently you can fool some people all the time. The My Pillow guy, he can't be stupid, but I think
he truly believes this stuff. You couldn't make this stuff up! Stephen King couldn't?

Ron Watkins.

Ronald Watkins (born 1987 or 1988) is an American conspiracy theorist and site administrator of the imageboard website 8chan. He has played a major role in spreading the discredited far-right QAnon conspiracy theory, and has promulgated baseless conspiracy theories that widespread election fraud led to Joe Biden's victory over Donald Trump in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. He is the son of Jim Watkins, the owner and operator of 8chan. Some journalists and researchers believe that one or both of the Watkinses know the identity of, or are themselves, "Q", the person or group of people behind QAnon. -- Wikipedia

They sorted people into different groups based on their fears and failings. Then they manipulated those fears and failings to make them behave in the way that was most beneficial to republiQans. They do this in Facebook and other social media networks.

Even I, who have programmed Fox channels off my TV, get frequent Fox feed suggestions in Youtube, and NEVER get an MSNBC suggestion. There is doubtless some money changing hands to make this happen.

It all works very, very well. Q proves that, once this is done successfully, there are people who will never turn away from it.

There was an OP yesterday that plaintively asked, "Does messaging mean we have to cater to idiots?"

We definitely need to improve our informational messaging. The average intelligent voter does not know what we are doing for them.

But we DO also need a messaging arm that caters to idiots. That manipulates them. Because, as we have learned in the last 5 years, there are millions of them in the United States. And appeals to their fears and failings are the only things that influence them.

And they vote.

We can cry "high road" all we want, but that is foolish. There are MILLIONS of them. We need their votes or we will get more of the same fascist, racist, sexist, polluting, thieving nonsense we are getting now.

These influence techniques have been honed for decades by governments and commercial advertisers. Now they have an unprecedented wealth of data given freely over social media that they can use to target individuals with frightening accuracy.

One major reason I refuse to sign up for any social media of any kind and avoid a number of web sites also due to this. I don't accept cookies on my computer, if a site has a popup telling I need to accept, I lose interest in whatever the site has to offer and close the window. I also do a disk and web browser cleanup every time I exit the internet.
