With Letitia James making the decision to run in the Democratic Primary for NYS Governor... It is my hope that Hillary throws her hat in for AG.
They say revenge is sweet... and in her case, it would be karmic.

(23,322 posts)Its time for us to look for some fresh faces without any baggage. The Democratic Party has an embarrassment of untapped riches. I want HRC to do what she wants to do in her life. I think the world of her.

(358 posts)Not that I have any concerns about Hillary Clinton as NYS AG, but do we really want to repeat the McAuliffe strategy or even the Clinton 2016 strategy. Clinton would drive turnout of the opposition in a way that no other candidate could (ie., Donald Trump). We have to continuously bring new candidates into the political fold.
Recycling the same old candidates is where we hurt ourselves in Virginia this year and in 2016.

(1,654 posts)She's been living her best life of late-- writing novels, serving as chancellor of a university in Northern Ireland (!), seeing grandkids, etc. I wish I had one-tenth the resilience and ability to enjoy life that she does.

I've just started it, and it's good and fun so far. MAGAts already hate it without reading, of course. Fine with me.
