Its time to make the deal
The time for "no deal" has passed.
I'm tired. I'm tired of people, well meaning as they are, thwarting progress but for the perfect. Its a fool's pursuit. Especially in politics.
As Voltaire said:
"The best is the mortal enemy of the good"
Or I like how Confucius said it:
"Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without."
We should take "good" today. Tomorrow will be the fight for "better" and "perfect" is the goal we work to achieve.
