How ironic would that be if Michael Flynn was in cahoots with the GOP hated Muslims?

(43,409 posts)They've been aiding far-right movements in a number of western countries - on the understanding that, if elected, they would coddle any and all Isreali abuses over occupied territories.
And like Trump, those they've managed to get elected certainly have (if only symbolically).

(3,243 posts)I worked with anti-democrat types who didn't understand the reason they are paid time -and- a- half for overtime was because of laws put forth by democrats. These same fellow workers would parrot what they heard from Glenn Beck- that FDR was a bad president.
I know people who are retired on Social Security that will tell you democrats have never done anything good for them.
Many of the democrat ideas are so good, the republicans can't decide whether to reject them or steal them. Remember Trump's mysterious healthcare plan that was always two weeks away from being announced?
MAGATs, along with everyone else in this country, have benefited greatly from democrat policies. They just don't understand how.

(2,194 posts)I mean we always knew they were, but now all the masks have come off (no pun intended) and they are basically wild-eyed lunatics who screech that good is bad and black is white, etc., etc., etc.
They are violent and dangerous criminals and should be treated as such, but anything other than that is an absolute waste of time with them.

(36,478 posts)We won't do it, though. It might appear partisan. And even if it isn't partisan, the right will accuse us of that, so we won't do it. Just like Bannon is still enjoying his life, as usual.

(3,395 posts)This is unforgivable, I am so disappointed at Garland, I don't see anything positive coming from there...the jail time to insurrects are laughable, trump is still running around spewing hate, Flynn working diligently against the USA, Stone, Bannon, etc. and so many republicans who should at least be fired from their positions in office.
People, I am an optimist, or maybe I was an optimist...this is getting very ugly, I don't see a good future for us unless things change fast.

(21,487 posts)Another question is in regard to the article's claim that Flynn's clandestine foreign contact for overthrowing the US government is with Israeli intelligence. Why would our ally, Israel, engage in clandestine activities aimed at overthrowing the US?
The article and its claims are dubious.

(58,785 posts)Salon's generally a factually reliable source, this basically also reports that this candidate is alleging this. Salon's story is full of "alleges" and "claims."
I googled this morning looking for investigative media with editorial processes that might have finished checking this out, but none then. But note that media known for responsible journalism didn't publish this RW politician's claim as an allegation because, even if it didn't violate their ethics, it would confer unearned importance and credibility coming from them.
I like these intriguing things, I really do, but too often they just don't pan out.
